FRITZ!Box 7360 – Service

Setting up a door intercom system in the FRITZ!Box

If the door to your house is equipped with a door intercom, you can connect a door intercom system to your PBX and simply use your telephone to operate the door opener. How to set up the door intercom system in the FRITZ!Box depends on the type of system.

Requirements / Restrictions

  • The door intercom system must have an a/b interface that can call a number using tone-dialing when a button is pressed. Other 2-wire or 4-wire solutions are not supported.
  • The camera for the door intercom records images in JPG/JPEG, PNG or GIF file format. Other file formats, for example MJPG/MJPEG, are not supported.
  • The camera makes the images available via FTP or HTTP. HTTPS is not supported.
  • FRITZ!Fon C3 and a FRITZ!Fon without a color display do not support image transmission.
