Length of password is not correct (too short or too long)
After entering a password in the FRITZ!Box user interface (for example for Internet access or Dynamic DNS), it is displayed as a number of dots that does not correspond to the number of actual characters in your password.
1 Password length is not displayed for security reasons
AVM products always display passwords as a fixed number of dots regardless of their actual length. This guarantees that the actual password length cannot be determined based on the number of dots. Therefore, this is not an error on the part of the FRITZ!Box. The entire password is always transmitted to the remote site in Internet.
